Digital Creative Direction

Due to COVID-19, all London galleries had to temporarily close their spaces. Losing the ability to realise physical shows for the public as well as private clients, most galleries suffered from not having an online presence. White Cube set out to embark on a journey of digital transformation. As a consultant, I was tasked to lead the business every step of the way. Working with the Curatorial, Sales and Communications team as well as the Global Creative Director and the gallery owner, I developed the gallery’s design aesthetic and overall strategy.

Brand Identity

 

Creation and development of brand identity for all group and solo online exhibition: from developing the visual representation of the show theme and anchoring the visual framework to follow on all touchpoints of that exhibition. Roll out across all digital and social channels.

Solo Artist Shows

 

Working with all functions of the company and representing White Cube in liaising with artists to bring upon their vision for an exhibition.

Special Projects

 

Working with the company to ideate the launch of new projects to stimulate the growth of sales and awareness of other brand activities at the gallery.

Social Media Campaigns

 

Developing creative direction and visual execution on campaigns targeting social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook and Twitter.

Wireframes

 

Leading on iterative site improvements through user journey mapping and wireframes. Consulting with senior management to bring measurable success to online projects. Liaising and coordinating with third party developers and setting of guidelines.

Advertisements

 

Working with large scale media companies, such as the Financial Times, Frieze and Artsy, to advertise upcoming shows and art fairs.
